Special Programme in Computing
The Special Programme in Computing renders a scope of liberty for students identified to display high calibre and interest in specific computing domains to pursue in-depth computing studies with a strong research focus within select groups. These highly driven students work in Special Interest Groups (SIG) to delve into a specialised interest area, and conduct research development under the guidance of School of Computing faculty members. Through the concentrated research focus and privileged exposure in conferences and competitions amongst other events, the programme is purposed to produce confident, resourceful and highly able graduates who would excel in research and other ventures in their pursuit of passion for computing and technologies.

IDA Enhanced Learning in Infocomm Technology (ELITe) Programme
The Enhanced Learning in Infocomm Technology (ELITe) is a talent development programme where in the NUS School of Computing works in partnership with IDA to develop "industry-ready" graduates. The elect group of undergraduates participating in the programme will be bestowed privileged opportunities including: Exposure to infocomm policy thinking; Mentorship from industry leaders; Local and/or overseas industry internship; Training and development in technical skills, soft skills, domain knowledge in demand by the industry; and Industry awareness and exposure when working on industry-relevant projects. The ELITe initiative affords and extends students opportunities to heighten their industry acquaintance and experience. Through these opportunities, students will gain invaluable insights from practitioners and surmountable experiences in-practice to complement the knowledge acquired through their coursework.

Overseas Student Exchange Programme
The NUS School of Computing is no foreign base to globetrotting learners who desire to leave their footprints around the world in their pursuit for knowledge. The school's very own brainchild, Overseas Exploratory Project, enables students to explore the operations of IT companies through educational visits to various sectors of IT industry outside the country. These brief visits affords students exposure to firms in the industry across the globe, allowing them to yield global perspectives of IT operations, and issues related to global IT services, management and engineering. School of Computing students can also tap into the universitie wide initiatives to go onto overseas exchange, summer and internship programmes respectively.
